Installing the Windows AIK (WAIK) in Windows XP may require the installation of .NET Framework 2.0 and MSXML 6.0 before the WAIK will install. These instructions will guide you through the process.
Click the OK button and then the Close button.
Click the .NET Framework 2.0 Setup option.
Click the Next button.
Check the I accept the terms... box and then click the Install button.
Wait for the installation to complete. It may take several minutes.
When the installation has completed, click the Finish button.
Click the MSXML 6.0 Setup option.
Click the Next button.
Select the I accept the terms... option and then click the Next button.
Enter your name and company name (if any) and then click the Next button.
Click the Install button.
When the installation has completed, click the Finish button.
